The Domaine Pouillon Estate vineyard is typically the last white grape harvest of the season--a moment of celebration on the farm. At a 1000 feet elevation on shallow silty loam soil, our estate fruit just keeps getting better and better every year and we are once again very proud of our Blanc Du Moulin.
On the nose notes of pineapple and golden delicious apple are beautifully balanced with the rich depth of honeycomb. A lingering minerality carries through to a long, clean and elegant finish.
Barrel-fermented and aged for 10 months on the lees in neutral barrel, this wine will cellar well, but it also drinks beautifully right now.
Pair it with artisan cheese as we do at our Saturday Dinners at the Bistro or with a smoked salmon fettuccine Alfredo.
