The 2022 Black Dot is a blend of five red grapes from the Columbia Gorge, Horse Heaven Hills, and Columbia Valley AVAs. Black Dot balances Petit Syrah, Zinfandel, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Aromas of cassis, cedar, allspice, and blueberry jam play in the glass, giving way to a youthful mid-palate explosion of ripe fruit flavors and tannins. You’ll sense pie cherry, currants, a dash of black pepper, and dry earth. Allow this wine to breathe and a hint of honeysuckle flowers will tie all of the aromas and flavors together in a symphony.
