2012 Katydid

Tasting Notes:   At first approach the bouquet is full of vanilla and blackberry taking over the palette. Soft strawberries shine through accompanied with a hint of lemon peel. Notes of tart plum and ground white pepper on the finish. This wine has a wonderful balance of acidity and flavor profile and is a spectacular portrait of such a wonderful 2012 vintage.
This wine is unfiltered. A small amount of sediment may grace your bottle, but the flavors are all the more complex and deep because of it!

2013 Pierre

Pierre has been with us since the beginning and the 2012 is a spectacular example of juicy Washington state Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon!  Gorgeous, a "baby Amarone," juicy, balanced tannins and a long finish that compliments savory and sweet alike. A tasting room favorite.

In late 2005, our first dinner together was paired with a wine much like Pierre.  After finishing the bottle, we both joked that we “...should start a winery and make wines like these.” Pierre has long been a family and winery favorite.
